EKO Cyprus: Constantly the side of children with disabilities, offering support for their progress!

EKO Cyprus, a member of HELLENiQ Energy, is by the side of children with disabilities as gold sponsor of the Radiomarathon – an institution that has, over the years served solidarity and has contributed towards an inclusive society. EKO Cyprus’ participation in the activations of the 2023 Radiomarathon, was announced on Wednesday, 24 October, 2023 at the head offices of CNP Cyprus, during the press conference which announced the launch of the 2023 Radiomarathon.

EKO Cyprus, as Gold Sponsor for the institution, strengthens the work of the foundation through important initiatives that are planned to be implemented soon. Specifically, EKO will host at all its service stations donation boxes and tickets to give the chance to customers to contribute to the Radiomarathon. Also, EKO Smile App users will be able to donate to the foundation through the iCare section in the App. During the Radiomarathon, EKO personnel will man 5 booths with the aim to inform the public about the foundation’s work as well as collecting contributions.

One of the more important initiatives by EKO will be the hosting of the charity gala “EKO Gala & Concert”, which will be at Pavillion in Nicosia, on Wednesday 1st November, 2023 with special guest star, the leading Greek singer Sakis Rouvas! All proceeds from the “EKO Gala & Concert” will go towards the Radiomarathon.

Therefore, as Gold Sponsor of this time-honored foundation of support and solidarity, EKO Cyprus will substantially strengthen the efforts of these children for social reintegration, by contributing to the joint efforts and multiplying the positive imprint of giving and hope towards our society.

During his speech at the Press Conference, Mr George Gregoras, CEO EKO Cyprus, emphasized that: “EKO Cyprus can always be found by the side of every fellow citizen who finds themselves in need and is actively supporting the Radiomarathon Foundation. We have a duty to help in every way and to offer the appropriate support to children with disabilities so that they can be smoothly integrated into society, into the workforce and progress from thereon. At EKO Cyprus, we believe in these values and support the efforts of the Radiomarathon for the financial aid of families, we continue to contribute to the creation of an inclusive society. A society that will provide the necessary means so that every citizen can progress”.

It is worth noting that the Radiomarathon Foundation supports the efforts of children and their families by providing financial assistance to cover expenses related to medical, pharmaceutical or technical intervention, scientific studies and research, seminars and other group initiatives as well as the financial support in relation to the living conditions of children with disabilities. Also, the Radiomarathon Foundation supports Non-Profit Voluntary Foundations that offer other services to children with disabilities.
