EKO Cyprus gives away the first Mercedes Benz A-Class to the first winner of the EKO Smile App Compe

With the popular and multi-awarded EKO Smile App as the protagonist and Andri Karantoni as the presenter, the first EKO Smile Challenge took place on the 14 July, 2023 as part of the EKO Smile App Competition! The Challenge was an innovative selection process, for Cyprus, as it was the first time that an event of such magnitude has taken place live.

The winner was Ms. Kalia Papantoniou, and she won a Mercedes Benz A-Class, worth €42.550, as she was the winner of the three challenges (memory, knowledge, practical skills). Present at the EKO Smile Challenge was managers and employees from EKO Cyprus, service station owners and representatives from the media.

Mr George Gregoras, CEO EKO Cyprus, in the specially designed ballroom at the Hilon in Nicosia, handed over the keys to the first of four Mercedes Benz A-Class to the winner. The three challenges of the evening, were presented by Antri Karantoni, they were “FIND THE SYMBOLS”, “EKO QUIZ” and “EKO PUZZLE”.

It is worth noting that the contestants’ selection process took place on the 7 July 2023 on the platform random.org, which does not allow any human intervention throughout the process. The specific process was initiated by the Mayor of Strovolos, Mr Andreas Papacharalambous, and in the presence of a legal advisor in order to ensure transparency, as well as the Managerial team of EKO Cyprus.

At the completion of the first EKO Smile Challenge, Mr George Gregoras, CEO EKO Cyprus, stated that “yet again, the love of the people for the EKO Smile App became the reason for such a big competition, a rewarding gesture, that offers a unique rewarding experience. We are therefore proud for the last three years, this smart app from EKO holds a significant place in our consumers’ lives and continues to upgrade their purchasing experience. It doesn’t stop here for the EKO Smile App Competition! The competition continues until the end of the year, as there are still another three Mercedes Benz A-Class to give away to three winners through three more EKO Smile Challenges. With every purchase – through the EKO Smile App – of any product or service from all EKO service Station, every consumer enters the selection process (as mentioned above).
