An event to promote the cutting edge application “Road Challenges”, an interactive virtual reality game with which young people aged 8 to 17 years can learn about road safety, was hosted by EKO with great success on Saturday 22 April, in Nicosia.
Dozens of visitors to the “Mall of Cyprus” had the opportunity to download the application on their mobile phones or tablets and enter the virtual world of “Road Challenges”. Following specific instructions based on the traffic Code, they moved correctly either as drivers, pedestrians, cyclists or motorcyclists. Moreover, those who downloaded the application entered the draw to win 2 tablets and 2 VR headsets.
The lucky winners of the tablets are Andreas Georgiou and Eleni Petsa, while Marina Christofidi and Maria Kritikou won a VR headset each.
Based on their score, winners of the “Road Challenges” will be rewarded with gifts, such as bicycles, tables and VR headsets.
