EKO Cyprus: 2025 Love Campaign for Children with Cancer and Leukemia

For the tenth consecutive year, EKO Cyprus stands by children battling cancer and leukemia, supporting the “Elpida” Foundation through its annual Love Campaign, which took place from May 26 to June 1, 2025.

This initiative had become a well-established tradition of compassion and solidarity, led by EKO’s dedicated employees and station operators, who each year donate a part of fuel sales to support the Foundation. The goal of the campaign is to provide meaningful support and hope to these young heroes and their families, who face a daily struggle with admirable courage.

Throughout the campaign week, EKO station staff will serve customers wearing special t-shirts featuring that year’s central message: “10 years of adding color to Hope”, further amplifying awareness around the cause.

“Through actions like this, we become better human beings, as we place solidarity among the highest values of human coexistence,” stated Mr. Giorgos Grigoras, CEO of EKO Cyprus, expressing confidence in the campaign’s continued success. As he emphasized, “The Love Campaign is far more than a Corporate Social Responsibility activity for us. It is a deeply empathetic and meaningful act of giving. For ten years now, we’ve been joining forces with society to offer hope where it is most needed. The love and participation we receive motivate us to keep going, with even greater determination.”

EKO Cyprus’ support for the “Elpida” Foundation extends beyond this annual campaign. In collaboration with EKO Energy, a member of the HELLENiQ ENERGY Group, photovoltaic systems have already been installed at the Foundation’s guesthouses, significantly reducing energy costs and supporting the long-term sustainability of its operations.
