It is a non-viscous distillate of hydrocarbons with relatively low flashing point (>38 C) and for this reason it is highly flammable. Its colour is white to slightly yellow. The colour is however changed to RED for better identification It is mainly used for heating purposes (central heating systems) and open type heaters.
