EKO Cyprus actively participating in the 'Match for Life'…

Paving the way for active participation of the community in the 'Match for Life' campaign by EKO Cyprus, aimed at supporting the work of the Karaiskakio Foundation, the company organized a voluntary sampling event on Thursday, September 12, at its headquarters in Nicosia.
The sampling event, which was held with great success, was attended by employees of EKO Cyprus, a subsidiary of HELLENiQ ENERGY. The EKO Cyprus personnel made a tangible contribution to enriching the bone marrow donor registry of the Karaiskakio Foundation, by providing a sample.
During the sampling process, the company’s employees registered in the volunteer donor database, with the aim of having the joy of giving a second chance at life to a fellow human being, if they happen to be compatible donors.
With the slogan "What if one in 100 is you?", EKO Cyprus hopes to inform, raise awareness, and encourage the active participation of the public, through the "Match for Life" campaign, in an effort to strengthen the bone marrow donor registry of the Karaiskakio Foundation by registering and identifying new donors. According to data, for every hundred new registered donors, one may be a match and save a life. EKO Cyprus' initiative is part of its Corporate Responsibility program, which consistently supports the work of organizations and foundations that make a meaningful contribution to society.
In the same context, the company, through a wide range of activities across Cyprus, will provide significant financial support to the Karaiskakio Foundation, covering the costs of identifying new volunteer bone marrow donors. Specifically, following the registration of EKO Cyprus employees nationwide as volunteer bone marrow donors, sample collection will take place at 20 of the company's stations in all cities, with the help of representatives from the Karaiskakio Foundation. Additionally, proceeds from car washes will be donated to support the donor identification program.
The "Match for Life" campaign will culminate in a charity dinner organized by EKO Cyprus, featuring the participation of top Greek stars Sakis Rouvas and Eleni Foureira. The charity dinner will provide an opportunity for key social partners, customers, and collaborators of the company to learn about the program, embrace it and actively promote it to their own partners, employees, and broader networks.
