EKO Standing Alongside the Volunteers of the Cyprus Red Cross Society

On the occasion of World First Aid Day, EKO sponsored 100 uniforms for the Organization's volunteers, supporting their invaluable work.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and its longstanding commitment to giving back to society, EKO tangibly supports the Cyprus Red Cross Society through the sponsorship of 100 uniforms for the Organization’s First Aid volunteers.

The initiative took place on the occasion of World First Aid Day, celebrated on September 12, highlighting the importance of volunteerism, solidarity, and preparedness in responding to emergencies.

Through this sponsorship, EKO contributes to strengthening the work of Cyprus Red Cross volunteers and supporting their presence and activities in the community.. At the same time, it recognizes their invaluable contribution to protecting human life and offering help to those in need.

To mark World First Aid Day, the Cyprus Red Cross Society carried out awareness-raising activities and practical demonstrations in Nicosia and Larnaca, giving citizens the opportunity to learn basic First Aid techniques and be informed about the importance of reacting correctly in emergency situations.

Supporting the Cyprus Red Cross Society forms part of EKO's broader Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, centered on people, health, and safety. Through initiatives with a meaningful social footprint, the company seeks to contribute actively to the well-being of citizens and the reinforcement of organizations carrying out vital social work.
