EKO supports the Nicosia Special School with the donation of a vehicle for student transportation
An initiative that builds on its long-standing collaboration with Radiomarathon
EKO, continuing its partnership with the Radiomarathon Foundation, has donated a state-of-the-art vehicle to the Nicosia Special School to facilitate the daily transportation of its students.
The Nicosia Special School, based in Aglantzia, offers a supportive, safe and creative learning environment for children with disabilities, focusing on the development of autonomy, communication and social inclusion skills. EKO’s contribution meets an essential operational need, enhancing both the continuity and safety of the children’s daily transport.
This initiative forms part of the Group’s broader social responsibility programme, which prioritises the support of vulnerable groups. EKO proudly stands with Radiomarathon 2025, an institution that for more than three decades has brought together citizens, businesses and organisations with a shared commitment to empowering children with disabilities and promoting their inclusion in society.
During the handover ceremony on the 5th of November, EKO’s CEO highlighted the importance of Radiomarathon and its role in supporting children with disabilities.
Mr Giorgos Grigoras stated:‘At EKO, we view Corporate Social Responsibility and solidarity as an essential part of our identity, mission and corporate philosophy. We chose to support Radiomarathon again this year because it continues to demonstrate the impact of collective action. Through initiatives such as the donation of a modern transport vehicle, we aim to stand by children and their families in a meaningful way, improving their daily lives and enhancing their quality of life’.
With commitment, consistency and a strong sense of responsibility, EKO continues to support efforts that foster inclusion and social cohesion in Cyprus, contributing to a community built on solidarity, where every child has the place and the opportunities they deserve to grow and flourish.
