EKO Cyprus, as the largest energy supplying company in the country, with 20 years of presence in Cyprus, has implemented a wide range of CSR initiatives that we are all very proud of. Through our CSR programs and actions, we are creating more value for the society in Cyprus and our fellow citizens. With tonight’s charity event our Group is contributing to the strengthening of the Radiomarathon and the vital work it carries out. Together, we can help in a practical way, the children that are supported by the Foundation so that they can live in a world that offers opportunities for all, regardless of the challenges they face.”
EKO Cyprus CEO George Gregoras also made his own account of the evening, mentioning, “We design and implement a multifaceted CSR program, which increases every year its positive contribution to the lives of our fellow citizens. With targeted initiatives for the new generation, the environment, sports and of course for road safety, we create added value to Cypriot society. In this context, we joined forces with the Radiomarathon and implemented a range of activations with the aim to offer as much as possible to the Foundation and in turn, to motivate the public to act in the same way.”
The First Lady of Cyprus Mrs. Philippa Karsera Christodoulide stated, “a fundamental principlpe of the Radiomarathon is that of solidarity. In these unpredictable times, when uncertainty and insecurity prevail, the Radiomarathon is there to give children in need, the certainty that all together we can support them in their hard battles with their health. For all of us who work towards the success of the Radiomarathon, recognize the magnitude of the responsibility of our mission. A mission that becomes actions through our “Power of Love” and the contribution of thousands of our fellow citizens, who have embraced the foundation and offer selflessly voluntary and financial support”.
CNP Cyprus CEO, Takis Pheidias emphasized that, “In an environment that is characterized as uncertain, insecure and concerning, our need to offer to these children a safer place to co-exist is increasing. For the CNP Cyprus group and the companies CNP CYPRIALIFE and CNP INSURANCE, our concern in these times for professional trust is tied to our social responsibility. The Radiomarathon stands out, because it is a dynamic foundation that has evolved this year to adjust to new social conditions and the challenges of the times. It embraces the Cypriot society and takes inspiration from it. We are referring to the power of togetherness, that connects the “Power of Love” for our children.”
The Radiomarathon strengthens the support for children that are being tried due to health issues and their families, providing them with financial support. EKO Cyprus, as Gold Sponsor of this time-honored foundation, stands by the side of these children and their families who need all our help.
