EKO actively stands by children and supports the Elpida Foundation

For another year we made love an action, together!

On the occasion of International Children's Day, celebrated on 1st June, EKO and all its petrol stations organised a week of contribution and support in the fight against childhood cancer, with the campaign "Let's make love an action!". Part of the proceeds went to the Elpida Charitable Foundation.

The charitable week began on Monday 1st June and ended on Saturday 6th June. During this period, all station employees wore the campaign’s special T-shirts.

Τhe amount collected by EKO petrol stations reached €4,750 and EKO matched the amount, offering a total of €9,500 for the needs of the Elpida Foundation. "I am touched and happy that, for the fifth-consecutive year and under special circumstances, we have contributed to the children who are fighting their own battle against childhood cancer,” noted EKO Cyprus CEO Mr. George Gregoras in a statement. “The response of both customers and petrol stations to EKO’s invitation was truly great, a fact that fills us with particular satisfaction as we can thus significantly strengthen the activities of the Elpida Foundation."

We are happy to make love an action for another year.
