EKO offers a “breath of life” to the newborns hosted at the ICU of the Makarios Hospital

The Hellenic Petroleum Cyprus supports in practice the battle of life fought by newborns at the Intensive Care Unit of the Makarios Hospital by offering financial aid.

The amount offered was gathered from a charity futsal match organised among employees working at Hellenic Petroleum Cyprus, staff of the network’s service stations and proprietors/ managers.

With this initiative, EKO supported the effort to purchase one nasal CPAP machine, which will be used to support newborns with breathing difficulties.

The check was delivered by the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator of the Hellenic Petroleum Cyprus, Ms Marina Tziakouri, during a meeting with the President of the Association “Miracle Babies”, Ms Stella Kyriakidou, the Director of the Pediatric Clinic, Dr Avraam Elias, and the Assistant Director of the Neonatal Pediatric Clinic of the Makarios Hospital, Ms Thalia Papadouris.
