EKO Cyprus awards Scholarship to Cypriot student for Postgraduate program at Piraeus University

EKO Cyprus continuing the long-standing tradition of its charitable work and wishing to reward the students of Cyprus, awarded a scholarship to the Honors student Zenon Hadjicostas for the Postgraduate program (MSc) "Energy, Strategy, Law and Economy" at the University of Piraeus, under the strategic cooperation agreement of the Hellenic Petroleum Group with the specific post graduate program.

In more detail, the cost of accommodation and subsistence amounts to 1,000 euros per month will be covered by EKO Cyprus, while the sponsorship for the postgraduate program will be covered entirely by the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group of companies.

The student was selected by the Evaluation committee of the University of Piraeus, which examined the applications of the interested students who responded to a relevant announcement by EKO Cyprus. While awarding the scholarship on behalf of the Hellenic Petroleum Cyprus, the Company’s CEO, Mr George Gregoras, stated: "EKO Cyprus once again supports “Excellence in education” by helping the new generation to realize its goals and dreams. I wish Zenon good luck with his studies!"
