Photis Pittas Lyceum in Kokkinochoria comes first in Maths and Science Competition

The Photis Pittas Lyceum in Kokkinochoria won first prize in the MATHeatre Cyprus 2019 mathematics competition, thus ensuring their participation in the Euromath 2019 competition. EKO sponsored the students’ efforts and is very proud of the honour they received.

In a statement made while presenting the cheque, Mr Andreas Stratis, Senior Sales and Marketing Manager for Hellenic Petroleum Cyprus, noted that “Though seniors, students from the Photis Pittas Lyceum in Kokkinochoria dedicated a significant amount of time and showed great commitment, working as a team and focused on their target, practices which remind me strongly of the way that we at EKO Cyprus work: teamwork and focus on our target are a part of our daily lives. This year’s distinction follows last year’s, when the school came third in the pan-European competition. We can’t wait for this year’s results, which I’m certain will be particularly commendable.”

EKO Cyprus is planning to continue rewarding excellence, actively contributing to the support of the country’s new generation.
